Resize Image
Resize images to exact pixels, centimeters, inches or millimeters, by percentage, or straight to social media sizes like Instagram posts and YouTube thumbnails — one photo or a whole batch, without uploading anything. Lock the aspect ratio to avoid distortion, pick the output format, and download results individually or as a zip.

How the image resizer works
Enter a width and the height follows the aspect ratio automatically, so nothing gets stretched — or unlock the ratio to force exact dimensions. Physical units (cm, inch, mm) convert through the DPI you set, which makes print sizes like 4×6 inches at 300 DPI a one-step job. Percent mode scales every photo in a batch relatively, and the social media presets carry the current recommended sizes for Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok.
JPG, PNG and WebP keep their format; HEIC and other camera formats are converted to JPG. Resizing happens on a canvas in your browser with high-quality interpolation — files are never uploaded, and each result shows its old and new dimensions so you can check before downloading.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I resize an image without stretching it?
- Leave "Keep aspect ratio" ticked and set only the width — the height is calculated automatically for each photo. Stretching only happens when you unlock the ratio and force both dimensions on an image with a different shape.
- Does resizing reduce image quality?
- Scaling down re-samples the image and, done well, looks clean — this tool uses high-quality interpolation. Scaling up can't invent detail: the image gets larger but softer. The quality slider controls the re-encoding of JPG and WebP output.
- Can I resize many images at once?
- Yes — drop up to 50 images, set the dimensions or a percentage once, and resize them all together. Results download individually or as a single zip. Percent mode is handy for mixed batches, since each photo scales relative to its own size.
- Are my photos uploaded while resizing?
- No. The whole pipeline — decoding, scaling, re-encoding — runs in your browser, and the tool works offline once the page has loaded. Your photos never leave your device.
